Read four books this summer and write book reports in any format and you will win a prize in the LAUSD Books of Summer program. Select a book from the BS list, or from an LA public library summer reading program list. See Mr. Belton in the library for entry forms; submit them by Sept. 5. If you enjoy reading, why not bring your family to the Feria del Libro, family book fair, June 7 at LA City Hall? There will be games, music, fun activities like rock-climbing and -- of course -- multicultural books. It's all free, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at First and Main streets! We now have 13 computers for students to use; the user name is library and the password is jordan. Our books are still out of order from our remodeling, but we are ready to check them out.
